Batumi Airport Transfer (BUS)

Batumi airport transfer — car at the terminal with palm trees in the background

About 3 kilometers from the terminal to central Batumi, 7–10 minutes on the road — the shortest transfer in our entire network. Batumi Airport is small enough to feel more like a suburban train station than an international hub: one arrivals hall, one exit, and that's exactly where we're waiting, sign in hand, whatever the season or the hour.

Batumi is a resort city, and its airport sees its heaviest traffic in summer (June through September), when charter and scheduled flights from Turkey, Kazakhstan, and elsewhere land close together. That's exactly the season when rank taxis outside the terminal are most likely to quote visitors an inflated price — a pre-booked transfer at a fixed rate sidesteps that entirely, in peak season or the quiet months alike.

Because the distance is so short, it's tempting to assume you could just walk into town or grab whatever taxi happens to be waiting — but 3 km with suitcases in the summer heat feels a lot longer than it looks on a map, and airport-rank fares here often run higher than a transfer booked in advance.

Batumi also works as a jumping-off point for longer trips: on to Tbilisi (roughly 6 hours by road, through mountains and vineyards) or to the Sarpi border crossing into Turkey, which sits just outside the city. If you're continuing on right after landing, mention it when you book and we'll arrange the whole trip as one transfer — no separate leg to sort out once you're already in Batumi.

Frequently asked questions

Will you meet a charter flight during peak summer season?

Yes — in high season (June–September) we put more cars on the road specifically to cover the extra flight volume, so pickup delays aren't a concern.

Can I book straight through to Tbilisi or another city, not just Batumi?

Yes, mention your final destination when booking and we'll arrange one continuous transfer with no separate leg in Batumi.

Can you take me to the Turkish border (Sarpi checkpoint)?

Yes, that's one of our regular routes — the distance from Batumi Airport to Sarpi is quite short. Confirm the exact price with our dispatcher or when you book.

What if my flight is delayed?

Your driver tracks the flight status and adjusts pickup time — no extra charge.
